I thought that my 27-Inch iMac 2.66GHz Intel Core i5 ran in 64-bit mode by default but I see that it doesn't right now. When I go into the System Profiler and select 'Software', I see:
64-bit Kernel and Extensions: No
Yet, when I look in my Activity Monitor, I see Intel (64-bit) under 'Kind' running for almost all the processes except for a couple. Is this ever royally confusing or what.
Download Snow Leopard Mac OS X 10.6.8 for free. The latest upgrade to Mac OS X Snow Leopard installation DVD which is available in.DMG format and can be made bootable. Apple warned that it would be the last version of macOS that would support older 32-bit apps. Apple has been phasing out 32-bit apps for the last 10 years and is.
I use a couple of FireWire Interfaces for recording and would like to enable 64-bit mode for the extensions they use (for my M-Audio in particular).

How can I permanently enable 64-bit mode? I could swear that before I updated from 10.6.6 to 10.6.8 a few days ago that I was running in 64-bit mode. Also, does enabling 64-bit mode have any effect on Rosetta?
Is there any disadvantage to running in 64-bit mode (ie: will certain things not work)? How to bring back download icon on mac.
Close combat a bridge too far mac download. Thanks in advance.

Hi,I'm using a MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, with 4GB of Ram, running OSX 10.6.8. Download Mac Os X 10.6 32 Bit MacI'm looking to try and experiment with Linux Mint for the first time. I'm reading the Linux Mint User Guide about Torrent (which I never used before). Is there a free Torrent client that's recommended for Mac? I found uTorrent (https://www.utorrent.com/downloads/mac) and I'm wondering whether any of you OS X people have used it and what was your experience. There's no mention on the uTorrent website as to which OS X version is supported, so I'm not even sure that my relatively old 10.6.8 will be supported. Download Mac Os X 10.6 Snow Leopard 32 Bit IsoThanks for your help.Comments are closed.
